Description
This sharpen method takes 4 separate highpass filters, each with different degrees of the filter. These are then combined via multiple maximum and minimum nodes, ultimately both resulting in two passes one good for highlight emphasis, one good for shadow emphasis. You can balance between the two through the dark/bright slider to get your desired look. Note that this can also achieve sketch-like painterly effects when the contrast is cranked high enough.
