Hi FF team and members. I need a little help. Donna has tried my effect 'Frame It!', but she found some "bugs" where you all can check in this post (Filters Comments). Give a look there and come back here.
Well, I got to fix the presets that has a frame as foreground and the image as background. So, now It can be applied without needing the image be as a layer in PS or on a new layer also in PS. (maybe It was a terrible phrase construction in English. But that isn't the point now. I'm soory) ![]() Well, my problem now is on the presets that has the borders as an empty area and the image sample. This presets just can NOT be applied in the image as background in PS (Flatten image). It needs to be as a layer. I've used the Alpha Component (see the image attached). My question is: Is it possible to apply a filter from FF and make It recognizes that the layer is background and convert automatically as a layer in PS? Or when we use the alpha component it makes the convertion. Thanks in advance. ![]() |

Unfortunately, this is not possible. We use Photoshop SDK 6.0 which doesn't provide access to layers, and switching to a later version of the SDK would make Filter Forge incompatible with non-Adobe hosts such as PaintShop Pro, Corel Painter etc. |

I understand. Thanks for the feedback Vlad. So, It's better I mention in the filter description that the filter won't apply on flatten image. Turn the image as layer 1st. Vlad, there is no problem writing those stuffs in the description, right? |
