"Inverse Gradient"

This filter inverts the value of x-coordinate and value of RGB. This method works as making inverse function if the gradient be considered as the function which the x-coodinate as input and RGB value as output. Its accuracy depends on the size of the image because using the Bitmap based component.
Note that the input gradient must be "monotonic increase" (The more go right, the more increase RGB value).

Application example of the inverse gradient.

"Equalize"
This is almost same as the photoshop equalizer adjustment. And same as the filter posted to this thread.
This filter is using the inverse gradient to replace the RGB value to the value of brightness order(%) in all pixels.

Application example No.2

"Histogram Sync"
This filter is the application of the above equalizer filter. This synchronizes the histogram of the input image with the histogram of the target image.

Hey, that's great, thanks Inujima! Inverse gradient also comes in handy for making bevels by inversing the gaussian blur so as to make it more linear. I used your snippet here:

WOW!! Inujima your new Dots version filter is really awesome and love it much, and it has much more variables and customization and like very much the new way of varibale dots size following the curve control, great and clever idea, and you can use the solid fill for a beautiful dots multicolor or use it without it to keep the original photo or image broken into thousand of tiny round OR squares !!!

Thanks very much for sharing this !!!!

Alright, you just blew my mind. That is amazing. No, the whole thing here is amazing.

1. I kinda have an idea what you're doing (since the previous post you made on this).
2. Now I wish there was specific annotation for what's happening in the filter.

Cool stuff smile:-) IIRC, Uberfez experimented with something similar a few years ago.. I think it was this thread..

This filter uses Loop components for weighting images by spectrum colors.
I'm trying to make same effect with using the blur or smudge. I have some ideas but it might be very complicated.

This Prism test filter is cool and stunning how you can convert a simple into this that you can do shown here

Here is the simple FF built-in Lionfish using this Prism test filter, that shows how great it is

And maybe you think that this above is not cool and great enough, wait until you modify the Center X and Y and you will get something different and surprising coming the source from that Lionfish smile8)

I have used values between 1 and -1

For example for the 4th one (right down) I have used these settings:

Center X 0,87 and Center Y -1.01

Its going to take a while to fully absorb the tricks within the Dots, Dividing, and Equalize, etc., but well worth it. Very cool! smile:)

Cube filter ver.2

OH! Beautiful individual multicolor cubes, also like much the new glass cubes where it gives a nice gloss

Will this 2.0 versión be a private filter or will this be available in the forum or the library?

IMAGES TOO ON SIDES OF CUBES INSTEAD OF ONLY COLORS?

Now and idea I have just had is if it could be possible to have images in the sides of all those tiny cubes, because you have shown always colorized cubes, and colorization from source images, but I think that the next challenge/step would be to be able to show different images, photos or to be able to load your own textures for the sides of the tiny cubes

It could be in two ways, show one image covering all the sides of one cube, or have different images on each side of one cube

I do not mean that you put the WHOLE image loaded in the tiny sides of the cube, my idea is to have bits of images or your own textures bits taken from the loaded source in the sides of the cubes.

I do not know if this could be possible, but would be really great and amazing to be able to do this

This examples have inspired me to continue learning and study more HOW your cubes filter has been done and be able to do myself the images cubes with glass cover, and I already got something but not finished yet, as your filter is complex to modify.

We already have that filter. You can reapply similar methods here. [Edit] Though, quite frankly I think doing that just totally wreaks the filter's beauty and integrity. lol you seem to have this tendency to run to image mixing haha.

Maybe you are making reference to the Cuberism mapped by uberzev but this is wrong, because I do not want to have different images on each side of the cubes, I mean to have the same image filling all the sides of one cube

Here below is an example to show roughly what I mean, and I say roughly because it is not done right, because I am trying to make it myself as shown in this other thread here

Lots of tiny Cubes filled with your own images like Inujima´s cubes
