Hello,
Please, could this great typographic effect could be done in Filter Forge, and be able to customize the typography shown as you wanted? I have just seen the posters for a new movie "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" and is really great how the have made a photo to convert it with a great typographyc effect overlay on the image, and if you see it closely, is not a plain a normal text overlaided over the photo that could be easy done, they have taken care much of the small details and is not all applied in the same way, and they there different depending on the background, because in some parts the colors are shown through the numbers and letters, BUT on background is reverse and the colors are OUTSIDE of the typography. And also they have mixed some scattered real words inside a sea of numbers texture !!! This gives even a better effects and makes you want to see it more closely and search for them. Here are some poster examples to show what beautiful artwork they have made: ![]() ![]() ![]() MORE HERE http://www.imdb.com/media/rm2559753984/tt1340800 http://www.wallpaperez.org/wallpaper/...y-2315.jpg AND MANY MORE IN THIS LINKS BELOW WITH A VERY HIGH RESOLUTION TO SEE IT VERY CLOSELY http://www.impawards.com/2011/tinker_..._ver9.html Please, you need to click TWICE over the thumbnail you want to really get the very high resolution image as seen here below http://www.impawards.com/2011/tinker_...0_xlg.html http://www.impawards.com/2011/tinker_..._xxlg.html http://www.impawards.com/2011/tinker_...6_xlg.html |

Hey CF, may I suggest you make each letter just color? Kinda like each letter is a pixel.

WOW!! This is looking really wonderfully similar to the posters above, and must say that you are a great "filter forge artist" that have been able to make this so fast and with this great high quality!!!
I could not imagine how this posters have been done, and you have captured perfectly the idea and made this beauty !!! ![]() I can suggest some things that I do not know if it would be possible AND/OR if you want to put them in the filter as this is your own. 1 - Ability to customize the text with your OWN text, I mean if you have a full text made on a text editor that you could import to use it. But I do not know if FF has any kind of way to import text and use it, OR it must be generated by FF alone. 2 - Ability to mix letters and numbers. 3 - Ability to choose lower case and upper case letters. 4 - Possibbly to enlarge and reduce size of the letters and numbers if you want more detailed effect or coarser effect. As said, this are ONLY suggestions and is up to you if you want to included and/or is possible to make it. |

Thanks Morgantao and SpaceRay....I was thinking that I might submit just the number version then later on submit a number/word version of this filter.....
Already planned......This is why I am creating it in the way that I am is so the user can use whatever font that they want...They can also use the mixture of upper and lower case...Text that they can use thou is limited to maybe 10 words...Other wise the controls would be way to complicated to use.....But maybe that would be a filter for FF4..hehe ![]() ![]() The text as I am thinking right now follows close to the same as the numbers set...Find that method at the end here...Number Set ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
