Yes, Carl, I am still in the development of some filters that want to release, BUT I am a perfectonist and want to make them very well and and also learn more on how to make them efficiently and with a clean construction.

I want to thanks you very much for having found at last the WORD that describes very well what I am doing, I have been looking for a word like this for me and did not find it, and now thanks to you, and have found it and is very good and helpful. Finally I can know what I do and why I keep doing it.

There are many definitions for the word "Hoarder", but in my case I think that the best that fits me and is totally true and is right is this one here

HOARDER : a person who accumulates things and hides them away for future use

YES, this is totally true because I accumulate lots of things that in some moment I think that will be useful sometime in the future, but then after years they are still there without being used

I have two bathrooms, and have transformed one of them into a storage room, to put all the things I do not use but could be useful in the future for something. Also half of another room.

Although my apartment is well clean, although with many shelves and drawers full of things, but NONE of this things are in the middle and are not an obstacle for living as it happens with many hoarders with much bigger problems.

FILTER FORGE HOARDING

THE SAME happens with Filter Forge, as I have about 1200 filters inside my own FF library, BUT instead of using them more, I usually ONLY use the newest ones, and accumulate the others for "a possible future use" as is like they are hidden from me

AND also with MAKING filters that I keep having ideas for new filters BUT do not finish the previous ones and will be done in a near future, and keep accumulating filter projects that are in the middle and not still finished.

COMPUTER HOARDER

And in the computer I make exactly the same thing, I have 22 Hard drives that are nearly filled with lots of things (6 of them are 2TB and 2 of them with 3TB), I have been making my own photos since 2002 and have now around 500.000 photos that I made myself of many things like landscapes, flowers and trees, cities, animals, etc. that I do not have them still organized, and usually I do not go back and look at them, I only have a reduced amount of photos that use more, all the other ones I accumulate are "for a supossed future use" and this have been this way since 9 years ago and STILL keep accumulating more for WHEN is supposed that in a magic future (that seems that never comes) I will use them probably.

ALSO some time ago during some years I have been downloading many different software and things to try in the computer, BUT then after I keep them away somewhere to be used LATER, and this "LATER" seems that never comes and this keep being there hiding somewhere in the hard drives.

Fortunately, I have STOPPED downloading nothing else from internet, JUST ONLY what I would probably need and use NOW (well except for FF filters) because I already know that if I download anything else that I am NOT GOING TO USE NOW, it will kept there hiding until the end of time without being used.

NOTE : The hard drives ALSO have some BACKUP copies and LOTS of files DUPLICATED in case one hard drive fails and so I do not loose everything.

SpaceRay's not the only one... My "my filters" folder contains more bytes than Filter Forge.exe.

YES; you are totally right, If I continue being so perfectionist I will get mad and I must do it anyway and "get my feet" wet and you have made me think well about it and force me to do it without having to make a perfect filter, simply the best I can, and of course if there is something wrong I can always modify it and submit it again.

Thanks to you I have already sent the second filter, and are working on more.

SpaceRay, for a second there I was sure you were talking about me Everything you said is true for me also. I used to download everything and anything off the internet, just in case. I no longer do that, I try to only download what I need for a specific reason.

Good to know that there are more like me Although I know that there are LOTS of people on internet that are desperate to download all they can and all the new they can find BUT then after DO NOT USE it OR use it ONCE and no more, and they keep getting more and more.

Oh, this looks like the same as the boyfriend my mother had that also was the same as you and also kept LOTS of things for the future in case something was broken and had a basement full of things. She divorced from my father when I was 12 and then after some she got this boyfriend and I went to live with my father, although now since 5 years ago I live alone in my own apartment near wh ere my mother lives to help her, she lives alone since he left her 6 years ago.

I again thanks very much to Carl for giving the hoarder title, as is really very true.

It seems that I have a serious problem about accumulating lots of things in my computer, I have many thousands of photos, PS brushes, patterns, projects, FF filters, ideas, writings, video tutorials, lists of things to do, ... and so on with many other things.

In March 2013 I started this thread

SpaceRay´s Lab and Forge - For tests, experiments and varied things

And I thought that I would be able to make this filters and submit them to the library but now in middle of July 2013, none of them have been made and finished to be submitted.

Last year also made this other thread

Preview of my next forthcoming filters in development

And was able with a great effort and hard work and overcoming the obstacles I could submit most the ones shown, but I could not

I really would like much to make, develop and submit the filters I have been working on, and I want to share them with all of the FF users, but regretably I have a very bad problem finishing things, and I feel I can´t cope with starting one thing and keep making it until I finish it.
