Too bad about the 'Shell end' control though (makes the randomize quite useless). I tried to automate it but the eventual maximum size is controlled by 'Swirl', 'Swirl spacing' and 'Ribbed shell', and these do so in a non linear way. You can get far by mapping one control to the L of an 'Assemble HLS' and remapping that with the other controls. But it got a bit too complicated  |

Love the filter, only slight concern is with the lip of the shell, doesn't seem to blend well, but again wonderful filter.

The default preset looks like a chocolate/white chocolate mix ammonite to me... deliciously yummy!

Not only, look: 
"relief" (dark) line of the inner spiral on the shell must be lighter. The inner side was made lighter by removing one of invert components. |

I'm about to update: I changed the lip, the bump map and added the snippets in the description. I just want to put in some nicer presets. Do you think I should change the default preset? I was thinking of giving the default one some more vivid colors.

Adore to look how the Maxwell is working. Step by step You see the real miracle.
Perfect example of usage FF in 3D. Not a new idea, but would be nice to start the FF's Gallery, where will be shown featured projects created with FF. |

there's no reason any of you cant start a 3d gallery of FF works. just use the User Gallery forum and start a thread. you could then ask FF to make it a sticky.
