Ya need to update this one, give us swirls in both directions, seperately, with controls for each.

This one also has a few problems when used on non-square images, or when turning down the size slider, because it uses an Offset in combination with a Frame component.

It was just one I came across randomly wandering the library that seems like a good candidate for an update, (since I peeked inside and it didn't look super complex really, just a clever implementation of a few components). No hurries, I just bump cool older filters sometimes, just to get people moving/looking/thinking again is all.

Sadly, I don't think anything really satisfactory can be done about the filter's bad reaction to the Size slider and non-square images (although I'd be glad to be proven wrong here). Until we get absolute offsets and proportional gradients that is. The best advice is to leave the Size setting at maximum and only use square source images. lol, dilla. actually, 'ripples' are fairly popular for photo art and i would think 3d artists would like them too. i've used plugins that do ripples and still have them loaded in my plugins for psp and ps. quite useful at times when doing water effects, especially reflections.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
