I have seen that there is available a new software that uses a new possibly revolutionary way of drawing and painting using the richness of pixel-based brushes AND the scalability of vectors†in a GPU-accelerated drawing environment.
John Knack blog - A new drawing/painting app, Mischief And in the above link there is a a short video showing how it works And in the Main website there is more information about it, and it looks promising and surprising It is something totally different to Filter Forge for different purpose I think that the choosen name for a new software has been done badly as mischief can be confused and mixed with many other things in google and would be hard to find it |

btw I just tried it... and THIS is ridiculous.
The ability to zoom and zoom and zoom and draw a detailed drawing with in a detailed drawing within a detailed drawing is ridiculous. Well done, my pocket money just flew out the door. |

There are also news about this software and many examples on the blog, regretably I do not have any time for this and have not been able to try this software myself

I bought Mischief back when this thread was new. I am not an artist, so I can't appreciate the abilities of the program as an artistic tool, but the interface was so simple that it was perfect for letting my grandson draw on the computer.
Unfortunately, product development of Mischief is being discontinued. Customers can still use it and have until the end of December 2019 to download the newest version or ask support for their activation code if lost. After that madewithmischief.com will be shut down. |
