I do not know if this is a bug or is done this way, I can make add another folder apart from the "My filters" folders, but then after I have tried to make a second folder inside the root of Custom Filters and it will not let you do it and shows the error message shown below
![]() It does not have the same name so I do not know why it says that there is already a storage folder, I can only have ONE additional flder and then have to create subfolders? |

Inside "Custom Filters" there is only the "My Filters" folders
What I have done to get this error message above 1 - Go to Custom Filters put mouse over it and right click and use "Add storage Folder..." 2 - Add the storage name and select destination and click OK and then the new folder is created 3 - Repeat the same as in point 1 to be able to make a second storage folder 4 - When you click on OK to make the second folder it will give you the above messgae telling that is not possible because another folder already exist. |

ONLY if you unlink (remove) the first folder you have created before you are allowed to make a new one, that again then is only one, so you can´t make a second folder
Also have tried to make the new storage folder instead of using the "custom filter" name on the left, go to open content of the "custom filter" on the right window and right click on the white empty part and "add a storage folder" and get exactly same error message |

Another different trial
After adding the first folder to the C:FF_Filters I thought to make the second folder in another different drive so I made it in D:FF_Storage AND it did work and created the second folder, BUT then after I wanted to create a third folder (or a second in the same place) and I can´t do it and get exactly same message as in first post. So this way you can only make just one folder |

There is something that may be missing about the description to reproduce this as I put above
BETTER EXPLAINED TO REPRODUCE THIS POSSIBLE ERROR What I have done to get this error message above 1 - Go to Custom Filters put mouse over it and right click and use "Add storage Folder..." 2 - Add the storage name and then select destination using "Browse" and then select the destination drive and then create there inside a new folder for this "storage folder" and then after selecting the destination and creating the folder and is showing the path, click OK, and then the new folder is created 3 - Repeat the same as in point 1 to be able to make a second storage folder 4 - When you click on OK to make the second folder it will give you the above messgae telling that is not possible because another folder already exist. |

There is no reference to the filter manager inside the FF Help pages, so until now the only information available for this Filter Manager is inside the Features page

I HAVE SOLVED THIS ----- IS NOT A BUG
Also I was confused by the image that is in the Filter Manager features page, as seen here below is put the name of the folder and then after another folder, and I thought that the first was the folder you create and then the second was the folder of the display name ![]() Sorry that I did notice what was happening So It is not a bug, it has been me that I was doing it wrong ![]() I did not notice that I was trying to make a new storage folder inside another storage folder, and obviously this can´t be done, but the error message is not clear enough, or I did understand it The confusion and error from me is that the DISPLAY name is NOT the name of the physical folders or any subfolder of the one you create, the Display name is ONLY for inside Filter Forge and I thought that this name was saved inside the Folder as another folder So for making NEW storage folders You only have to make a DIFFERENT folder each time for each one of the custom folders and then make subfolders from inside Filter Forge |
