Is it really necessary to force disabling of seamless rendering when certain components are used?

The new transformations and free shapes (that disables seamless mode) can perfectly well be used in a seamless filter construction, its all about the context.

Even with the old 1.x series of components you could easily break seamless mode, the new restrictions will not change that fact, so the new restrictions sort of end up just being creative limitations.

In case you're worried about the consistency of the online repository: Maybe you could let the user check a box "This filter is not seamless" when submitting the filter, and perhaps add some sort of report link on the filter display page ("This filter is not seamless").

Perhaps its just me being annoyed about it. We finally get the long awaited components, and then we can't really use them freely. Back to the snippets again smile:cry:

ron, we never lost them. you can still do seamless. it's just that some of the new components do kill it. so, just dont use thsoe for now and you've still got seamless smile:)
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
