"Hmm... well I am lost."

Particle based paintings. 2 bombers slap down all the colors and a percentile node takes care of the blending.

And ths is a snapshort from Dundjinni, where the ground is build using random picking from 12 renders of that grass, in 200x200 pixels. I'm still not 100% done as I have problems to match repeat & size with the multi-tile boudryborder, but I'm getting closer.

yup. good idea (and trust me, you're not the first smile;) ). what might be easier than one person's style, is a broader theme like whole genres, e.g. impressionist, renaisance, cubist, modern, post-modern, abstract and so on and also, different media, like pencil, charcoal, oil, watercolor, etc. though, if you can pull off particular styles, why that can be fun also smile;)

lookin good, totte smile:) a hairy life preserver... now that's a twist smile:D

I've been fiddling a little with some more normal tiles, but you can really get things good with stage2 now.

I'm actually trying to do some designs in FilterForge. I think things are turning out nicely smile:D I really want to submit all of these to the library and share smile;)

This filter kinda makes variation on a simple magazine design I saw a couple weeks ago. Just thought I'd put it here.

that last one has a motion look to it, CF. sweet smile:)

and totte, i love that 'damaged' tile look, except why are those two tiles larger than the others and why do they both have a missing bevel?

at first i thought you were trying to do chalkboard football formations, skybase smile;) i think we're going to see a lot of varying mosaics and larger patterns made with smaller patterns. the bombers just almost demand it. nice stuff smile:)

Because they multi-tile, like this: (Screenshot from Dundjinni again, using random selection out of 16 different tiles rendered in FF2):

Thanks Craig...Still working on it and trying to put different functions in there..
Such as scattering the objects in different positions on the stack from the back of the stack to the front of the stack....Then putting in a control where the user uses a control to select that position...

totte,

nice map. when i first looked at it it looked like the black 'land' was lower than the 'lava'. but, i realized that's an illusion due to dark things look further away, in general. upon a second and third look, i could then see it was raised above the 'lava', so, good job smile:)

procedural golfcourses. lol. all we need now is a procedural tiger woods smile:) looks good so far smile:)

Some more amazing stuff here.
I've been offline for the week and haven't been able to keep up.

The grass really looks good, Ben.
I've got one in the works too, but it's not as far along as yours.

Totte, I really like how those tiles are coming along.
The fur is looking good too.

Really cool effects by Uber, CF, and Skybase!

Oh, and the golf course is great! (ya beat me to it smile:devil:)

Why, yes, yes it is! smile:D I'm going to try and get a bunch more Mario stuff in when I have time. It's nice to work on a filter that takes 3 seconds to render rather than 5 minutes. smile:-p I'd never heard of Dundjinni before, it looks pretty neat! Your tile filters fit the theme really well.
