Today is 29 of June and tomorrow is the last day of June.
So, Will Filter Forge 2.0 be released today or tomorrow ????
I do not think so, because I think that they should have put in the preorder page a note telling that there 3 or 5 days left to order as last chance for those that have not done yet. Maybe I am wrong and wish it would be released tomorrow.
I bought the upgrade to 2.0 on 3rd of June thinking that it would be released between the 10 or 20 of June, but we are in the 29, and still no final release date. 
I suposse that they are busy giving the last finishings or they have already finished it but need to prepare the CDs and the material for the release, and perhaps they are making also many 2.0 filter by themselves to promote the new 2.0 version and release them toghether. I prefer to have a full tested and working right version of FF 2.0 than a rushed and hurried up version that could have some bugs or errors. As there is already the beta version, I can wait until the release date, although I wish it would be as soon as posible, I want that it is full and well done. Thanks very much for making such a wonderful and awesome new version with so many new features that can give a greater and wider creative potential. |

It's software- It's done when it's done. That's simply how it goes.
I'd rather have a less buggy version a few weeks later then a rushed job made to just barely make the date. This is why it's never a good idea to ask when software will release, it's frustrating for everyone. TBH, FFinc should have just answered "when it's done" and let the issue rest. Besides, ETA = ESTIMATED time of arrival, so if it takes a while longer there's still no broken promises. |

You can preorder an upgrade or a new license and save up to $170. You will get the final version and the license key upon the release in June 2010. thats a bit more then a ETA ..its a promise is it not
