Dear all
I hope this is the more appropriate forum to post in. I am seeking the help of an expert filter designer as I'm utterly useless. I need a filter, and am willing to pay, that creates the roundels used in the Doctor Who TV series Tardis console room. They would need to look something like the attachments with transparent backgound be rezizeable and seamless tile is an array of 2 x 2. If anyone is able to offer assitance I would be eternally gratefuly. Thanks in advance. John. ![]() |

Hey, are you the guy that emailed me about some filter mods? I had an hour or so tonight but I didn't get a chance to finish it up.
![]() I can also crank that bugger out real easy. Pop me an email and we can work something out. Is there any sort of deadline? |

did you want just the roundels or did you also want to include the metal framework surrounding the roundels? and did you also want the neutral, outer roundel surrounding the central goldish one?
the roundels themselves shld be as easy as pie. i'm actually somewhat surprised no one has done a roundel filter, come to think of it. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hi,
WOW - That's brilliant! Well, having looked at both images I would like both - the transparent and the background (is that what you were refering to or the brightness of light centres?. Or, the option to have a variety of colour backgrounds or transparency. Either way, the image is fabulous. I can't thank you enough. J |

It was more in reference to mimicking the actual thing from the tv show versus just re-making the one you first posted.
The one you posted doesn't look a whole lot like the tv show picture, I can do either one just let me know what you would prefer. Some other questions- Do you want me to submit this filter to the library or should we keep it private? Could you give me a list of controls you want. I can add control over basically anything quite easily. What level of realism are we shooting for here? I can keep it the sort of cartoony look we have currently or I can give it the full treatment, I'm asking because I don't want to overdo it for fear it won't blend well with whatever other media you have. |

Hi
OK, the better the resemblance to the show the better. If that's possible, brilliant. Yes please. The better the realism the better for me. ![]() With regards to submission, I would prefer it private if possible. Do let me know what you would like in terms of paying for your time and effort though. Controls-wise, could we have...? array control - eg 2x2 or 2x4 size background colour background texture background transparency Colour of hexagon Colour of centre lamp area/circle Thanks again...I am so grateful for all this! The better the realism the better as I'm trying to use the best quality textures in my builds. Thanks again, J |
