We are very sorry to inform that the Filter Forge online library is temporarily down due to a server issue. Downloading and submitting filters is currently unavailable.

We are working on this, but it might take a couple of days.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

I've noticed... smile:-(

Snooped a little, found
Domain Name: FILTERFORGE.NET (which is what the FilterForge Application is looking for...

Did you change the settings or had someone been fiddling with your dns settings?

Totte: somewhat worse, the OS on our server has suddenly died. We need to reinstall the OS and restore the backups, all this to be done remotely. Being 11 time zones ahead of the hosting provider doesn't speed the things either smile:(

Sounds like a HW failure, a deliberate attack or a human error to me.
OS:es usually don't fail.
I haven't studied the possibility, but if someone with evil intensions manually built a malformed XML filter definition file, uploaded it to the server..

and now you all may realize why i use the 'obsolete' method of obtaining my filters. sure, i cant get any new ones, but no new ones are being uploaded at this point. so, i have ALL the current library filters... Muhahahahaha! you may buy these from me for 1 gold piece per filter smile:dgrin:

eek! Mind wouldn't surprise me if that is the case Totte. What with the mentality of some people, either the fact they can do it or they want to see if they can.

Good luck FF team with getting this sorted! smile:loveff:

No gold on this end, sigh..

I knew there was a problem around 7am here.
So sorry to hear the bad news from the Filter Forge team. Hope they can get it up & running again very soon.

Best of luck with the restore! smile:loveff:

The library server is back online. The error notification on the filter page is still there -- just ignore it.
