We are very sorry to inform that the Filter Forge online library is temporarily down due to a server issue. Downloading and submitting filters is currently unavailable.

We are working on this, but it might take a couple of days.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

Domain Name: FILTERFORGE.NET (which is what the FilterForge Application is looking for...

Totte: somewhat worse, the OS on our server has suddenly died. We need to reinstall the OS and restore the backups, all this to be done remotely. Being 11 time zones ahead of the hosting provider doesn't speed the things either smile:(

Sounds like a HW failure, a deliberate attack or a human error to me.
OS:es usually don't fail.
I haven't studied the possibility, but if someone with evil intensions manually built a malformed XML filter definition file, uploaded it to the server..

and now you all may realize why i use the 'obsolete' method of obtaining my filters. sure, i cant get any new ones, but no new ones are being uploaded at this point. so, i have ALL the current library filters... Muhahahahaha! you may buy these from me for 1 gold piece per filter smile:dgrin:
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

eek! Mind wouldn't surprise me if that is the case Totte. What with the mentality of some people, either the fact they can do it or they want to see if they can.

I knew there was a problem around 7am here.

thanks, guys. i went in last night using the 'old' method and got in and downloaded just fine.
