Can any of you graphics gurus explain this?

Why the preview in filterforge is so much lighter than the just rendered image viewed in Preview or a Browser?

Wow, I never noticed that before. o.0

Wierd, it looks like FF is using a different RGB profile to display it's images than it uses to save them. I've confirmed that it's not an external issue, you can take a screen shot and see the difference in the histograms. smile:?:

Anyone have some answers on this?

Currently, Filter Forge doesn't support Color Management.

We do not take into account the color profile of the monitor during the result image painting to the screen, while the Preview program does. That's the cause of the difference you've seen.

We have plans to add Color Management support in the future versions.
