Buying ONLY the Filter Library Backup online ??? What do you get ??

I have seen that when you click on buy Filter Forge 2.0, it offers you also the Backup CD, AND also the offer to have a Filter Library Backup.

The suprise for me is that when I first bought the FF 1.0 AND the filter library backup on a CD and I got BOTH of them included in the CD, and now I see that it puts that the Filter Library is ELECTRONIC delivery ???

Does it mean that is not included anymore inside the Filter Forge CD ?

Or is it that is an online delivery ONLY if you do NOT choose to have a backup CD ?

Well going to the main question on this thread I ask:

I have tried to delete the Filter Forge product and also Backup CD, and so in the online cart remains only to buy the Filter Library Backup.

SO I want know if I can ONLY buy this Filter Library Backup and get it delivered electronically (downloadable)

I ask this because when I click over the link to the info about the Filter Libray Backup it takes me to another page that put "An error has occurred
Product does not exist! At least one of the requested products does not exist."


WHAT WOULD I GET WHEN BUYING THE FILTER LIBRARY BACKUP ?

And more important for me:

If I buy this Filter Library Backup, What would I get and what is included ?

Is included ALL the filters that are available until today on the server ?

SERVER DOWN OR UNABLE TO CONECT TO FILTER FORGE

I am asking this because as there has been some problems some days with the server and it does not allow you to download any filter, I have thought to buy again the filter backup and so if there is problems with the server, I could search for any filter released before that is included in my backup and only depend on the server to download NEWER filters released.

I have seen you answer on the day you published but I had to go and could not write the answer, and then I forgot about it, sorry.

Why it does not appear this direct link in the filter forge store ?

In the http://www.filterforge.com/buy/ there is no option to buy the filter library backup alone.

And is interesting to know that the library backup is made once a week (or 10 days) and so I will probably buy it soon, I will contact here to know when it has been updated and then buy it.

these filters are compatible to which version?????

I have FF1 but i no mopre use it as it is out of date now
but will filters compatible to it work on ff 1!!!!!


it happened to me earlier that some filters made in some version wont work in other version even if its a lower version

These filters are compatible with Filter forge 1.0 and 2.0. BUT as said very well by Rod_D all the included 2.0 filters will not work on Filter FF 2.0 as they have new features, or different configuration and are not compatible with FF 1.0

BUT in the whole collection you buy are also many Filter Forge 1.0 filters that still work and are very well compatible with FF 1.0.

What I can tell you is HOW MANY filters of the whole collection of nearly 4000 thousands filters are ONLY for FF 1.0.

As far as I know, any FF 1.0 filter that has been modified or updated with FF 2.0, even if it not added any new feature or used any of the new tools of FF 2.0, the filter is converted to FF 2.0 compatible when submitted again and the FF 1.0 is deleted so there is not different copies and versions of the same filter, only the latest ones.

Although I think that there are lots of filters that have NOT been updated or upgraded since 1.0, but I can´t guarantee or say if the amount and if this would justify to buy the complete pack.

Perhaps the best way would be to use the FF 1.0 library included in the software for check the online library so that will show ONLY FF 1.0 filters to be able to download and none of the FF 2.0 filters.
