Hello,

I have had an idea that as you can´t make your own folders to organize filters, and you can´t rename the categories, and can´t arrange the filter in another way, I have had the idea that I could organize the filters using my own Keywords added to the filters.

So I could add for example the keywords

Fav1 as the ones I like most
Fav2
Fav3
Fav5 so it would be like a rating

And so I do not care at all where they are stored in whatever category, I just need only to use the FF search on my own FF library inside FF to find them.

And also I could add others keywords to categorize much more the filters and could be like virtual folders, I mean instead of folder names, it will be keyword names.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM TO BE ABLE TO DO THIS ?

I do not know how to change the keywords inside my own FF filters library, as when edited with the filter editor you can´t put it back to the original place.

Should I edit each one in the filter editor, save to "my filters" folder and then manually overwrite the old one with the new one in the FF library?

Please, see this other thread here

I have now tried to make this:

1 - modify keywords in a choosen filter inside filter editor
2 - save it to "my filters" folder
3 - Go to the "my filter" folder using the SHIFT L (after selecting a filter in FF)
4 - Copy that filter
5 - Go to the Filter library folder and FIND THAT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PASTE IT THERE ! smile:evil: smile:cry:

Because the filter saved in "my filters" is with the name I have choosen and inside the FF filter Library ALL the filter names are like this "Library_6118-1" so is not posible to overwrite the same modified filter because you do not know what is the name of the same filter inside the FF library. smile:dead: smile:(

Thanks for moving it to the Feature request forum

It is very sad that this is really something that can´t be done smile:( smile:cry:

I do not understand why this is not possible ??? smile:?: If you can modify all the info of the filter, why you can´t save it again to the filter ???? smile:?:

Please, Is there any technical reason for this is not possible ? smile:?:
