There are two pictures on the page "Multiple Source Images." One illustrates loading a single external image. The other (presumably) was intended to illustrate loading more than one external image. Unfortunately, the two pictures are identical, so they don't actually show what a filter with multiple external images would look like.

Please, could you put a link to the page that has the two pictures identical?
I have only seen this page ---> Support for Multiple Source Images FIRST PICTURE On the fist picture you see the settings on Filter Forge filter and the result of the Article bomber filter using five different photos put toghether. SECOND PICTURE On the second picture you can see HOW the above filter is configured inside the filter editor, so you can be able to use this multiple sources images Although the BOMBER is not the only one that can use multiple image sources, the 3 and 5 gradient component also uses multiple sources, and also other components can combine multiple sources. THIRD PICTURE In the third pictures shows what component you should use to use multiple sources images To load ONLY one image as before you only go to file menu and choose "open image" , for multiple sources you must use the settings of the color control to input more than one image source. THREADS ABOUT THIS Perhaps for you could be helpful to see this link to this thread here below Short tutorial on How to use "Color control" component to load images Also there is whole forum thread started by Vladimir Golovin about this topic Filter Forge 3.0 and multiple image support and also this other one FF3.0 Questions & Answers: Multiple Source Images |

I've attached a screencap. The page is in the current help file that comes up when you press F1 or click Help > Filter Forge Help in the application.
Thanks for the link to the online version. It's obviously much more complete. Perhaps the Help menu item should include a direct link to the online help. I keep my FF3 up to date, so I assumed the help file was up to date, but clearly it's somewhat preliminary. Thanks also for the helpful links to other material on this subject. Much appreciated. Hmmm. I click the Choose File button below ("Attach a file:") and then click the Preview button, and all that happens is that Choose File loses the filename -- "No file chosen" and there is no preview, either. But it seems to work if I don't try to preview first. Forum bug. ![]() |
