This might be an odd one, but one thing I keep thinking would be great would be if creators and users could give names to presets, so that the name would either be displayed over the thumbnail or as a tooltip when mousing over the preset.

This would be great for just naming the different presets (rusty, outdoor) or for giving usage information ("Works great on dark, high contrast photos").

I too want named presets! Even date the preset was made or just being able to number them would help some. Maybe along with the preset, settings, lighting tab- we could have another tab called "Notes"- a place to write about how we use the filter. Even if we could only number the filter- then in the note tab we could type the preset number and how it is used. Ideally tho, I would love to be able to write descriptions and date the presets and have a tab for notes too.

Now in a separate document file, I keep notes on how I use my fav filters- it would be so cool to do it all in filter forge.

Yes it does not need to be always available the name over the presets, just when you hover the preset and so will appear the name or message as you go through the list.

Great idea, I thought only in giving names and what is this about probably, but you have given a good idea on tips on how to use that preset, very good !!
