What does it mean when the filter says that the source image must have an integer aspect ratio to tile properly?

The four sides have to be equal in length.

i believe it's if you divide one side of a source image by another and the result must be a whole number, not a fraction.

the 'aspect ratio' is the relationship of sizes (the ratio)of the width and length of an image, screen, monitor and so on. and an 'integer' is basically, a whole number and not a fraction. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
