 Custom Tool tips

Add tool tips to the controls in the filter settings tab.
you could have each control component have a text field for adding a tool tip.

 That's a good idea.

I've long since wanted to be able to write more text detailing the use of a setting slider.

 +1, but only if it's an option i can turn off, at least for myself.
