  • The Render Animation output goes almost pink
Author: Matsuzaki. I tried animation filters created by someone else. No errors appeared. There seems to be something unusual about my filters, but I haven't figured it out yet. Errors occur in three of my four filters in the filter library.

  • The Render Animation output goes almost pink
Author: Matsuzaki. I have checked through three filters. Two of my filters are placed in the filter library. The error occurs when the size is 1050 or more pixels.

  • Circular Flowers by Ramlyn
Author: Ramlyn. Ha! Ha! Yes, you are right. I still didn't seriously work on the animation feature of Filter Forge, that's why all my filters are only static. I will do as soon as possible.

  • Copyright
... on the Mac, Program Files in Windows). Also check out the Forums by searching for EULA and reading the discussions. There is also a Terms of Use (https://filterforge.com/termsofuse.html) document on this site. As far as I know, I own the copyright to my filters, but by submitting them I have granted Filter Forge the right to distribute my filters on this public website. The quick answer is that you can use the filters on any graphics AND sell them as long as you own the rights to said graphics.

  • How to get only selected BlendModes
Author: Beat. I have a couple of questions about how to make my filters better in their User Interface. I'll start with the first one. I describe what In run into in a as simple way possible. I am after the principle in the solution, not per se The Solution to this simple problem. If I want to make a Blend, but ...

  • Tag Sorting
Author: GMM. Prototype458, welcome to the forums! The recommended way to manage filters is through favorites. You can create a complex folder structure under favorites. If you want to rely on search you'll need to create a copy of the filter under 'My filters', then edit this copy to include your favorite keywords.

  • Filter Forge can't keep up with Adobe Photoshop Upgrades?
Author: Artsy Digitals by Carol. Okay! I was able to get the license to work and download FF Beta 13. Now, how can I get all of my filters from the library back into FF? Seems to be a lot of trouble. I purchased the Studio FF.

  • Rocky River Bed by Novaesky
Author: Rachel Duim. A well deserved Editor's Pick! Very realistic... go to lunch if Ambient Occlusion is turned on. Here's an example of your filter with a couple of my filters thrown at it (Forge-O-Scope, Pentaflower Four):

  • Concerning forum spam
Author: Ramlyn. Some spam in the comments of one of my filters: Here (https://www.filterforge.com/forum/read.php?FID=11&TID=15260&MID=162460#message162460) The author is Bianca Williams

  • Does This Look Like an AA Issue?
Author: David Roberson. https://i.imgur.com/uvq4bC0.png These blocks with the square grid of pixels show up occasionally in my filters. In this case it might be an issue with a Map Script, but I've seen it with some Math components, too. If this is a common problem, what debugging steps should I try?

  • Suggest a new filter.
...? " The easiest way for me to open and view a shared filter file in the .ffxml format, is firstly to download it as “download linked file” (or “save as” - just try whatever works on your system), then place the downloaded file in the “My Filters” folder, where the application data/library files reside on the computer. Next time you open the Filter Forge application, you will be able to find the filter under the Library folder on the left side of the screen > Custom Filters > ...

  • Filter Forge 12 Released
... (settings) for a switch runs immediately into difficulties, even if I use abbrivations. Still, if more people request these things, it should be added. The U.I. is really unworthy of such an excellent application as FF. The reason I do not submit any of my filters to the library, is exactly that. I cannot ask of other users to understand my controls, if I cannot name them properly and not divide them into functional groups. I hardly understand my own filters myself after a while, and have to open them ...

  • Noob question: ffxml files (and how to use them)
Author: Rachel Duim. In your web browser, you can click on the .ffxml link. At that point it should allow you to open the file in Filter Forge. The file is placed in the My Filters folder (near the bottom of the upper left pane) and should run at that point. One caveat: you can't run a FF9 filter in FF7 for example. The code may be experimental, so be aware of that too.

  • Neon Kiss by Boogie Jack
Author: StevieJ. Dude, this is so lame... You basically took one of my filters and submitted it as your own... Lol... I check back in in here after all these years, and this is the first thing I see... Lol... Not surprising that FF allows this because Kuchoby, who works for Vlad, took most of my glass filters, just added ...

  • Crashing the Submission Wizard
Author: CFandM. • License of generated images?
... immediately get a slightly different look. The key here is "different". You have to use your own judgement on this one. I would err on the "safe" side out of respect to the filter writer / artist. And personally I enjoy seeing others use my filters!
