  • [bug] Color Control 'Paste Image' issue
... contents of the Color Control after pasting an image, some of the time." This has been fixed and should be available in a future program update. Thanks for reporting! "xirja wrote: there is a 'Paste Image' command that can only paste an image copied from another Color Control and not from the main copy buffer from the Edit menu." This is by design, confirmed with Vladimir. Remember that when you load an image into a Color Control, its path is saved to the current preset. Since an image in the buffer only ...

  • [bug] Color Control 'Paste Image' issue
Author: xirja. When right clicking on the Color Control with images enabled, there is a 'Paste Image' command that can only paste an image copied from another Color Control and not from the main copy buffer from the Edit menu. Also there is not a refresh of the contents of the Color Control after pasting an image, some of the time.

  • scattering objects
... doubling the number of objects each time. Gets rather slow after a while. I just made and submitted a different approach ("Multireplicate") which works to create a larger number of objects and allows for more variation, scaling, rotation and color shifting the copies. Still rather slow but if you need to make a couple hundred copies from a single object, it works nicely. I'll put up some samples.

  • Copy Node or Clone Component
... would not affect the others. This way if you identify a basic shape that could form the basis of a several fish, plants, eel and other objects you could build the common shape, then add clone components which would be the same as that one, but add color, scale, offset and other details after to differentiate them. You would not need a connector to these either, just some color or symbol that indicated the node, and the clones were related so you could greatly clean up the connections.

  • Eyedropper in Color Picker dialogs
Author: SpaceRay. "Sphinx. wrote: Please add a simple eyedropper that is active when a color picker dialog is open, which allow you to "pick" any color" I totally agree that it would be really useful, helpful, time saving to be able to pick a color from the image you are editing and applying a filter while inside the color ...

  • Grouping ignores obsolete Color component inputs
Author: Crapadilla. Would it be possible to automatically replace the old color controls with new ones, copying over all preset values in the process? I'm just going over old filters, organizing them to test the grouping feature, and this behaviour absolutely destroys color in all my presets. If it stays like this, filter ...

  • Allow to open TWO filter editor windows to be able to copy components
... make a special filter that would work as an storage place to keep all the components you want ALREADY CONFIGURED as you want and not with the factory defaults presets, and also you have YOUR FAVORITE GROUP OF COMPONENTS as a kind of snippets (using the color control component to identify them with text like if they was stickers) and so would me much easier to have things in one place instead of searching for them in the FF list. MAKE DIFFERENT VERSION OF THE SAME FILTER EASIER When I make a filter ...

  • 2.005 hotfix released

  • copy image path
Author: Kraellin. in the main gui, in a color component that's allowed imported images and you've got a personal image loaded off your harddrive, it shows the path to that image. this is good. however, i'd like to be able to copy and paste that path to a different filter or to another color ...

  • Component Instances
... scheme, and I was threading that color input into 10 different component nodes. that put input lines stretching all over the editor window, which made editing more confusing. I wonder if it's possible to make instance copies of components. Like linked copies. I could imagine this working very easily for the controls components, but maybe it could also work with the other components. Having multiple instances of a color control component means i could have that node input right next to the component it is attached to for each thing it is inputting to, and that means no more long confusing crossed lines.
