I drew the original with Copic markers as part of a series of miniatures (2x2-inches). Then, deciding there was more I could do with it, I scanned the illustration into Photoshop and applied a series of filters, adjusting the presets as I saw fit. The ability to adjust the presets is, I believe, one of the best features of Filter Forge... it's fun, educational, and it gives the artist a chance to be original, stepping off from where the filter-developer finished his/her work... I love it!
