If you have never worked with metals before, it's done by melting the metal and pouring it into a sand-based mold and then hand or machine finsihed after it cools and is removed from the mold. Some ancient tablets made from gold were similarly made by pouring the gold onto a wet sand form and then burnished to whatever polish was required. The gold can be colored by the addition of minerals to the sand surface or in the gold itself. With my filter, you can achieve the same look. Still working on some variable controls for it before I submit it or share with anyone.
