Filter Forge, Adobe Photoshop CS3, 3dsMax, Valve SDK, Source Engine
This example features a number of Filter Forge generated elements. The sectioned metal arms are used from the "szi_scale" filter. My own "Jet Lag" filter provided the diffuse and normal maps for the bolts in the center, and my own "Hal 9000" filter provided the central glow. Along the outside are some vertical bars provided by the ever-useful "Cell Leather" filter.
This example shows how useful this program can be when incorporated into a 3d texturing workflow. It provides wonderfully accurate normal maps and if you look around you can find some very high quality textures in the library.
