Author's comments

I used Photoshop to prepare the input file which used 6 separate photos of Roses taken in a rose garden. These were cut out and placed over a pure blue background. I used Repeat and Recede using Mask with the mask color set to the same pure blue to create the final result. This gallery image is scaled down from the original dimensions of 7200x4800.
