Randomizer Settings

The Randomizer Settings dialog defines which filter controls are randomized and to what extent when the user clicks the Next Variant button on the Settings tab. The dialog is accessible by clicking the button located right next to the other two Randomizer buttons:

Randomization Level

• Low – Low degree of randomization. Checkbox controls on the Settings tab and the Environment setting on the Lighting tab are not randomized. Relationships between the colors of color controls are preserved. This randomization level is good for creating subtle variations of the original look.
• Medium – Moderate degree of randomization. The Environment setting on the Lighting tab is not randomized. Relationships between the colors of color controls are preserved. This level of randomization is recommended for the majority of cases.
• High – High degree of randomization. Relationships between the colors of color controls are ignored. This randomization level is good for exploring the filter possibilities.

Parameters to Randomize

• Variation Only – Only the Variation slider is randomized, other controls on the Settings and Lighting tabs are not affected.
• Variation and Controls – All controls on the Settings tab are randomized (Size is randomized only when Randomize Size is turned on). The Lighting tab is not affected.
• Variation, Controls and Lighting – All controls on the Settings and the Lighting tabs are randomized (Size is randomized only when Randomize Size is turned on).
• Randomize Size – When checked, the Size slider is randomized along with other controls. This checkbox is disabled when the Variation Only option is selected.
