Filter Forge Update 1.008 - Early Buyer Discount, Bug Fixes and More

Alexandria, VA, USA (March 17, 2007) – Filter Forge, Inc. today released the update 1.008 to its flagship software, Filter Forge, a Photoshop plugin that allows users to create their own filters. The current update fixes several bugs, adds a trial splash screen showing users the number of days left before the trial version expires, and introduces a 10% discount for early buyers.

How to update: To download and install the update 1.008, select Tools > Updates from the Filter Forge main menu. The update preserves all downloaded and user-created filters, as well as user settings and the license key. Users who do not want to use the built-in update feature can download and install the update manually from http://www.filterforge.com/download/

• Fixed a bug that caused a selection to be displayed incorrectly on a reduced preview.
• Fixed a bug that caused a filter to be removed from Favorites after downloading an update to this filter.
• Fixed a bug that caused 'Last filter action ID doesn't match current filter ID' errors to appear while opening certain filters.
• Fixed a bug that caused 'Bad allocation' errors when processing filter descriptions.
• Fixed a bug that caused incorrect handling of long filter names in the Submit Wizard.

• Minor corrections in the Help file.
