The diamonds also make great pearls~ Attaching image.

Use the background color stated on the about screen, the exact color is given. Start with a blank canvas filled with that color. Check out the presets and choose one---->.

Cut one out.

Load into PSP as a tube, Or... load into Uleads PhotoImpact as a stamp.

Apply the 'stamp' or 'tube' and you should have a pearl.

See image below. The pearls on this image 'are' a single diamond cut from the diamonds maker.

Other filters used on this image:

My luxurious silk fabric filter
Carls' shadow filter
Ron Viers Heart Filter

The chain on the heart is also the diamond from the diamond maker----> it's the same one used as I did for the pearl,,, if you set your tube or stamp settings low it will produce a chain --> just draw out what shape you want it in when you apply.

I'm attaching the exact settings I used for the heart (cut off any remaining image after the heart is applied because the image will overlap some).

Forgot---> Here are the Heart Settings for Ron Vier's Heart Filter:

Ruby Color

Color 1
Edge Width 0
Size 3

Frame not checked
Surface Definition 5
Surface Reflection 12
Translucence 76

Size, pixels 736
Variation greyed out

Seamless tiling not checked

And just in case I'm not the only one using Ulead's PhotoImpact-----> Here are the settings for the chain (you can see the diamond loaded as a stamp.)(Will make pearls when set to a higher size.)

Sig makers have fun and please do use the fitler and tell all your friends~ smile:D I love siggy makers~ So yes you can use the filter to make sigs for others. I'm also sure Ron and Carl would love it if Siggy Makers used their filters too so grab the Heart Filter by Ron Viers and the Shadow filter by Carl too~

Once the diamond is cut Paint Shop Pro users can load as a tube. Ulead PhotoImpact users can load as a stamp or save as an object in .ufo form. Adobe photoshop users can save in .psd form or .png.

How to cut out a diamond:

Start with a solid background base of #9EB0E2 500 x 500.

The filter is color sensitive and will not produce a diamond if not used with the right color. If you do find another shade of blue that works better please do let me know. This is the color I've found that currently works the best. (Hex: #9EB0E2)

Apply the filter.

Using a circle as your selection shape.

Zoom in to 500% or more.

Drag your circle selector around the diamond and crop.

That's it.

Try cutting various diamonds for different looks.

Once these are cut and scaled smaller they become beautiful pearls.

Apply StevieJ's ColorChormatic filter and you have a delicate glass bead.

I've made the icons large for the tutorial screenshot.

And here are the delicate glass beads in action~ smile:D smile:D smile:D

(((Also makes beautiful tennis braclets.))) The diamond is scaled down to 74% to make the beads.

Here is the User Gallery Link for this image. The thread gives tips and tricks on the creation of the image.

Once your glass bead is created you can pull horizontally towards the center of the beads to thin them. An example string is in the image below.

For cutting out the diamond:

Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro users can easily adapt cutting out the diamond for those programs.

For Ulead PhotoImpact users I did forget to say that after you select the diamond and crop--------------> Go to Selection on the toolbar and convert it to an object/layer. Then crop.
