Description
This Filter simplifies Advanced SharpeningFirst it converts the image to Lab and then uses ByRô's Sobel Edge Detector to find the edges.There are two sliders. One to sharpen the Lights and a second to Sharpen the Darks. To eliminate Halos.Because only the edges are sharpened a greater amount of sharpening may be appliedOnce the Lightness channel is sharpened then the image is re-assembled back to RGB.How to useClick the view Edges / Image CheckBox and select the edges to be sharpened with the Gamma and Width sliders.Uncheck the view edges boxZoom in to an important area of the imageAdjust the Sharpen LightsAdjust the Sharpen DarksPlease click the permalink below for further details.
