This filter takes any image and generates a surface map capable of producing and type of surface render map. It also produces a HDR blended diffuse map of the source image. This is a single filter solution for generating surface maps from images. It helps to have the source image already free of strong lighting or shadows as this will affect the outcome of the surface map to some extent.
