Description
Even though I'm throughly impressed by the wood textures people have made with Filter Forge, I've always had the feeling FF can do even better. So I decided to give it a try. This is very much a work in progress and suggestions how to improve the filter are highly apreciated. ^_^The filter is loosely based on the wood texture part of dactilardesign's barrel generator, modified to give a livelier base surface and options for heavier weathering. Render time depends on the Height Map Details setting,the only part that uses a heavy filtering compenent.
