Hardline Cut is a black/white threshlolding filter that emulates a range of traditional carved surface techniques such as engraving, linocut and woodblock. Key to the authenticity of the result is the use of the image’s own high frequency data as the mask.Texture adjusts how much of the midtones are carved, and Coarseness how thick the carving lines are. Brightness and Contrast are convenience options — use them to find the right balance of light and darkness.
