Doodle maker is a monochrome sketched pattern maker. It uses a set of tweaks to control it. Madly compelling to use as are many pattern makers. If you use the invert setting it can be a great start for terrain map inspiration.I have my daughter play with this one - 3 years old - then she prints and then uses it to paint or colour on. She loves it.
