Description
Not pretty, maybe not fast.. but here it is: Sampled Auto Levels!PARAMETERS- Quality / Speed: This parameter lets you control the amount of samples taken into consideration. More samples = slower processing.- Scramble: When checked, the analyzed material is scrambled to improve the chance for min/max representation in low proxy sample pool. If you run sample skips with certain patterns etc, try this option.PRESETSLead preset show best quality auto levels.Row 1 shows scrambled decreasing precision (10 - 40)Row 2 shows unscrambled decreasing precision (10 - 40)USING THE SNIPPETWhen using this snippet in a filter, get rid of the Quality / Speed parameter by chosing an odd repeat number that suits your needs. Following you may need to adjust Minimum radius (high repeats = low radius and visa versa, inspect results as you tweak).Note: this is not a demonstration on applying auto levels on an input image - use the min and max levels external input for that.
