Description
This filter creates terrain map with snow, vegetation, water, sand and rocks. It requires a black and white terrain map as image input to create these maps. I use it to create Terragen surface textures from an exported black and white terrain image. “Input Brightness” and “Input Contrast” adjusts the input image so, allowing youConsider the "Alt" sliders as suggestions. The colors get wacky when sliders cross paths but you could use this to create other color schemes. Increasing “Aridity” makes the colors dryer – sandy looking.“Mellow” decreases the color range.“Transition�� changes the gradient transition of the color map for tweaking and strange effects.“Feature Sharpness” changes the sharpness of the height map"Soften low alt" smoothes out the low lying areas. Nice for sand etc. “Gamma” darkens and lightens the color texture result image.“Flip” inverts the input image.Enjoy!
