Description
This filter adds a variety of Monochromatic (Black and White) or Color Film GRAIN and NOISE to your images, from extra-fine to coarse sizes. 20 Presets available.An additional "Extra B&W Noise" option (with independent controls, different noise profiles and 15 blending modes) generates a bonus layer of monochromatic fine noise that mixed up with the grains provides even more organic and alternative results (It can be disabled). It uses RGB color noise algorithm concept from emme's "Analogue" filter.TIPS: - Lowering "Grain Saturation" slider to "0" (zero) and checking/unchecking "Color Grain" will render different types of Monochromatic (B&W) grains. Check preset 20 and compare results! - Reduce "Size, pixels" slider if you need even more fine grains/digital noise. Experiment on presets! - Analog film stock emulations/mutations can be created by pre/post-combining this filter with the awesome Retro / Nostalgic / LOMO filters available in FF library.Try it!
