Very original and beautiful. Great textures and modifications can be done to the original base photo. It could give awesome and amazing results when carefully selecting the base image to use.
Also very good the idea of the on/off image background control THanks very much for creating this very complex texture creator based in the sierpinski prism triangles fractal shapes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sierpinski_triangle Here are some examples  |

And this is fractal based when you go closer and closer you see more and more things
This is exactly the same as the first one shown, but now as is shown closer you can see more of the fractal texture than can´t be seen in the first or second one.  |
