![]() ![]() ![]() This are just plain colored balls, but surely they can be made with textures, and could be also used for other things, like for example lottery balls! ![]() This could be used also as a lottery balls machine ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() PACHINKO MACHINE BALLS Now, I do not why, this gumball and lottery machines, have made me think also in the Japanish Pachinko machine Balls ![]() Here is more information about this ![]() |

I don't think this filter can be adapted for a lottery machine... If you want different numbers on each ball (and preferably a random location on the ball), you can't use the Bomber methode I used. If you do, you will have just 5 numbers repeating themselves.
About the Pchinko, I guess you can just add a metalic looking gradient to them, like you did with the ball pit filter. |

Oh yes, you are right you CAN´T have the 49 numbers of the lottery balls, because Bomber ONLY allows 5 inputs !! So it is true that you would not be able to remap the 49 number textures. And would be really difficult and complex to use 9 different bombers configurations (if it would be really possible), one for each of 5 different numbers. Sorry, my fault, that I did not think on the 5 input limitation, and that is why also the balls have only 5 colors. Forget about the lottery balls. Bad suggestion. METALLIC BALLS Yes, I have just seen that is possible to change the result with reflectivity and reflectivity blur

I have tried in higher resolution and the glass effect of the gumball container is very realistic and well done, it really looks like a real one, and the balls are very well adapted to the inside of the machine.
I have seen REAL gumball machines in google, and this "fake" one could not have any envy of the real ones as it is very similar as you can see here in this google images search I do not why, but this also remembers me of something I have seen in the supermarket ![]() ![]() ![]() BALLS WITH IMAGES INSTEAD OF COLORS Here I have tried also to make the same as the Ball Pit filter, to add the possible feature of adding images to the balls instead of only having plain colors, which are also beautiful. ![]() |

There are no bad suggestions, even if not all of them can be fulfilled.
Yes and no. In the ball pit filter you COULD do this, because the reflectivity and reflection blur options would affect the balls. In the Gum Ball machine filter it would be impossible, because the balls themselves are INSIDE the glass dome, and the reflectivity settings apply to it only. The reflectivity, reflection blur, height and metallic settings affect the top most layer of you filter (In this case the machine). That's why I said it would be possible to do with a metalic looking gradient in the beginning.
You can thank Amethyst for his amazing work on the Snowglobe filter ![]() I just copied what he did in there...
This reminds me of the prize machines they have for kids, where you insert a coin and get a random ball with a little crappy toy in it ![]() |

I have just discovered this myself before you have wrote this ![]()
Oh yes, I did not think it this way, is true that there are some machines with printed outside balls and you get one of the random one BUT always includes a crappy and toy inside ![]() By the way if you want to try it yourself, I included here the filter for you or anyone else. Thanks, it´s true. So as you can only have 5 textures, I have another idea, your gumball machine, could be transformed into a Sports Ball selling machine ![]() Of course that for this to be true, the machine would have huge proportions to be able to have lots of sports ball inside in real human sizes. You could have the gumballs transformed into Soccer balls, tennis balls, basketballs, baseballs and voleyballs ![]() ![]() |
