Congratulations, once more on this great filter series.
Like much this kind of bands and graphics generated, this can be render separated but then after you could join them together in a composition. Well done! |

I have done this very easy in Photoshop, just select any part of the white area with the magic wand, then invert selection and then is only selected the GF shapes.
Now you can select to fill them with a gradient, or load a image and select New--> Layer via copy to be able to copy the selection of GF shape and then the photo or image is cut with the shapes of the GF wireframe generator. As the above is with a photo, here I put one made with the rainbow gradient ![]() |

Great examples Spaceray, I love in particular the one you filled with flowers. I tried to enable images, but dont know why, the lifesaver was not full sceen but just 2/3. So I had to forget it. But I am working on one that will pleasr you because you will be able to fill with your images the wireframe and also the background.
OK I found the answer, when we fill a wireframe, we have to fix the wireframe offsets settings. So I will update the filter and you will not have to pass by photoshop. An example with the wireframe offsets are not fixed ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

the image above comes from a new one. Here what you can do with the filter that I'm working on (with the GF Wireframe Generator v3 you will be able to do so after the update maybe tomorrow
The bg is filled with "tree" and the wireframe with "kingfisher" ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

Thanks for your comment and glad you like them And as you love the one with flowers I have made this for you This couldn´t be done using a straight image because it would look very bad, I had to rotate it 35º following the same direction of the wave because if not it not look at all right. Also I had to reduce the size of the image so it looks nice inside the little squares that your great filter have created ![]() |

I have had one suggestion that probably would also be interesting, instead of having only one wave that goes from one corner to another corner, would be possible to make the SAME wave but that could fill ALL the available visible space?
I have made a rough and quick test in Photoshop (I have duplicated it 5 times to get this) of how it could be seen although is not well done but could give you and idea of what I mean. ![]() |

WOW!! Great that you like my idea and converted it to be used inside your filter. Thanks very much. ![]() Also like the above example, I have another suggestion to make the waves bigger and longer, I mean the width to fill the screen without having to fill it completely as above. This would be like converting the image into a large flag of small squares ![]() |

Spaceray, with these settings you can already have full screen : start = 0, end = 0, percentage = 100 and you fix the offset Y until you get the result you want. If needed, you play with other settings to change the form.
The update will be upload today. See this example ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

Thanks for the suggestion and tip, I am sorry that I have seen the END slider BUT the START is separated below from the END so I did not find it and see it, I thought that they would be together, my error. While playing with the settings and experimenting I got this nice vertical lines with the very fine drawings transparent lines across the verticals that I like. ![]() |

Ghislaine Please, How would you make this kind of waves fulls screen as the example I have put above that I repeat here?
![]() I have modified every single setting (except the top colored change form) and could not extend the lines to fill the whole screen. Would it be possible or is perhaps not possible in this kind of waves variation ? Perhaps is my error that I did not find or have made the wrong configuration of settings and there is a way that you could know. This is the largest I could make it ![]() |

Also with Preset 2 I have made this other shape design BUT modifying the setting I found that I do not know how to modify the width of the vertical spacing between lines, I could modify the horizontal spacing.
By the way, Do you have MORE PRESETS saved that you would like to share from this great filter? ![]() |

Is that what you want ? You have to respond as soon as possible before I upload this filter. If this is ok, I just had a control to the blend and you will have to play with a lot of others controls to get this and put the Blend Percentage to 100... and fix, as said, others controls.

In the last example I wanted to modify the special that the vertical black lines have in the same way that I could make them with the horizontal ones, your own last example shows the vertical lines in the same way as my example, so I can´t know if this is right or not.
I have another suggestion, will you be able to rotate the image source for filling the shapes ? And would be possible in some way to distort the source image to follow the waves distortion and not just fill them ? |

By the way, please see the above post that I put this image that I could not make it fill the screen and make it larger, at least if there is some way to do it ![]() |

Just have 20 presets. About the rotation of source image, I dont take that it will be possible because no source image, All the wireframe come from free gradients, not with source image. Not possible to distort a color control.
Please Spaceray, can I go for my lunch ? ![]() visit https://gisoft.ca |

Sorry I did not explained it well, I know that all your beautiful designs are made without any source image and are the result of free gradients and not from any image source, what I wanted to say is that if it could be possible to FEED this free gradients with the source image and so it probably will also get distorted in the same way as the lines. Because this is something that you CAN´T do in photoshop easily, unless you mess with the displacement maps. |

I feed free gradients with the source image. The source image get distorted in the same way as the lines but here the result (I tried to fix all settings to get a full sceen source image but it is not possible, just when the wireframe is set at the V or H ways.)

OH yes, I forgot that you can´t do it because you would need to cut the source image with the exactly same shapes as the wireframe result, so you would probably need to use an alpha mask to the source image that has the same mask as the shape you are trying to fill, but this can be done easily AFTER the shape has been generated, I mean fill the resulting shape at the end but I do not know if it possible to make it BEFORE.
I have been testing inside your filter, and in the way you have done the filter I think is much more difficult than I thought. Sorry. Perhaps another alternative is to make it at the end and offer the user the ability to rotate the source image to fit in some possible way to the shapes of the wireframes generated |

The update is in the mail LOL
3 things have changed, just read the filter's description. You have to know that few variations have changed because with all the manipulations I made I lost few of the presets. So I had to remake the lost presets but without success. visit https://gisoft.ca |

Hoping that this update will please you. You made me work hard yesterday but I'm glad because I found others things to create. And my next filters will contain possibility to fill with your own images what I will create in the future. And also the ability to get as bg your own images, sure when this can be possible. I think that all filters might be contain one of those two possibilities.
![]() Anyway, I did my best on this filter. visit https://gisoft.ca |
