Trust me, if you keep at it you'll get better. I've only been making filters for about eight months myself. Here's the first one I submitted.https://www.filterforge.com/filters/12004.html It's not very fancy but at the time it was the best I could do.

Very nice. I love to play with maps. It seems that you can't create maps in trial mode. I'm right?
PS: You have some good filters there. I'll check some of them. |

We basically call images that provide some sort of data a map. The computer, just like us humans, looks at a map to see where things are and interprets what's there. For example, a height map represents height from black to white values. Maps don't need to be understood as a 3D-only thing, it's also a 2D thing. (simplified explanation).
Just in terms of design, the filter's pretty awesome already. |

Thank´s Skybase.
You are right. The results are 3D interpretations of 2D data. In fact you can use the same map for different settings (opacity, occlusion, transparency, scattering...) What 3D programs do you use? |

I'm currently a Modo and Cinema4D user. But I'm trained under Maya as a generalist.

I did see above your avatar: 2D/3D generalist
I'm also a generalist. In my country, a generalist is a "bangs master". Don't ask me why ![]() I did endow a 3D Animation and Video Editing agency in 1992. Yep, Maya wasn't there... And desktop computers still ran on coal. ![]() PS: please, correct meh if any english error |
