Would be cool to maybe have internal image anchor variations? Maybe have a color slider for position for each one? Sounds like it would kind of bloat it, just throwing it out there.

Well, you could render 6 images result and use them with the multiple images 3D cube I made fromThreDee Image cube filter available at the end of the thread of the linked

So you have it already avaialble and ready

Hello ThreeDee,
First of all thank you for the filter. May I kindly ask if you make it non-square version as well? (Such as 600x300 image for example, I tried to modify it but my Lua Knowledge is not enough for it.)
Thank you very much.

i second Mehmet's request. would love to see this more flexible to various image sizes.

This quick modification should work correctly on any image size.

The external images should still be in square format though. There's no way (I think) in FF to read the dimensions of external images, so that makes it challenging for the cropping to work nicely with non-square ones. Also note, that the external image placement should be set to top left.

Thank you very much again Emme, you did help me a lot. By the way if anyone interested, I increased the maximum image amount up to 64. I wish there would be a script to load images easier.

Be aware that both filters above are made for FF 10 only

Thanks really very much for taking the time and the boring work of adding 64 SOURCE IMAGES!!!! instead of 19 and also for choosing a different color for each of the 64 colors. This is a great help and very useful and lovely to be able to have 64 images to make the collage in a bigger size

Thanks very much emme for the modification but regrettably it works only for colors and not correctly with SOME of the images because when you make it non-square I have seen that some of the internal source images selected will NOT be centered as it happens in the original filter, and they are offset and seems to be in bigger size

Here is the design in 2000 x 2000 that can be seen that all the images are in the center of the frame

and here is the exatcly same but with 2000 x 1000 where you can see that some of them are NOT in the center

I do not know why some are centered and others not

To make this one I just ONLY have changed the "blank image" from 2000 x 2000 to 2000 x 1000 and nothing else, everything else is the same as in the square first example

Hello SpaceRay,
I've done a small modification inside FFXML file.
For example if you change placement mode to 2 all images will be centered.
Or Horizontal Anchor to value="1". So I've changed them all at once inside notepad.
And then I've used FFSubstitute (I had also found this tool in this forum)

Code
<ColorMapControl id="colormapcontrol 01">
         <Name value-en="Image##001"/>
         <InputImage value="test.jpg"/>
         <ExternalImagesMode value="1"/>
         <HDRMode value="0"/>
         <HorizontalAnchor value="1"/>
         <VerticalAnchor value="1"/>
         <PlacementMode value="2"/>
         <TilingMode value="0"/>
         <Color red="0.0588235294117644969" green="1" blue="0" alpha="1"/>
         <AlphaMode value="0"/>
      </ColorMapControl>

Hope it'd help.

XML file follows this rules for example;
Placement options are like Fit, Stretch and Fill. In XML it goes 0,1,2. So It should be 2 for "Fill".
Horizontal and Vertical Anchors will be 1 because it's Left, Center and Right. (0,1,2)
