How to use this filter
Component shortcuts
RO -> Rotate component
OF -> Offset component
K1 -> Kaleidoscope component
FR -> Free rectangle component
Slice Rotation -> Rotation component
Iterations 1 -> set how often pattern transformation is repeated
Flip X, Flip Y -> Flip component
Shift source image by sliders "OF-" and rotate by "RO-". A "Free Rectangle" component cut a slice out of the image, use "sliders "FR-" to alter slice size.
Slider "Iterations 1" alter slice repeating, slider "Slice Rotation" alter rotation of repeated slices. Check "Flip on" to use "Flip X and/or Flip Y" checkboxes
Check "Kaleidoscope on" to use kaleidoscope "K1" right in front of "result" component. Kaleidoscope "K1" can be altered by sliders "K1".
Check "Show Slice" to see slice cut out.
You get interesting new patterns by using the looping components. Just play with all sliders or use presets.

If FF crashs it's possible there is not enough free memory. Try to reduce image size. Unfortunally loops are very slow and need much memory. My PC has 16 GB memory, I'm using Win 7 64 bit, that gives FF about 3,5 GB of free memory. I've rendered an image 5000x5000 pixel without errors. But FF crashs sometimes at my pc too, if i try to render to big images and it depends from used filter also.
I'm using a 4 GB RAM-disc for FF tmp files also.
