I think what's really nice about emme's work is that there's a significant attention to detail and has a thing for being handy when needed. I think you should further study this filter given this is one of the best examples of good artistic usefulness, attention to detail, and careful consideration of control!

I think you should use this fiter for a while befor you look down your nose at it. Here's two of emmes presets. 3# & #8. "Art is quite useless." Oscar Wilde |

If you think there's significantly more attention to detail or artistic usefulness in these examples than my presets then your blind pal. And as far as the ability to control the result goes, how long did you use my filter? It's only been in the library for a few hours. "Handy when needed"? I have no idea what that could possibly mean. Seriously man, why don't you use this filter in a Significantly artistic and useful way before you knock it.

I was talking about emme's original filter. Given this filter is a mod of it, it does follow the gorgeous quality output.
I mean I should have mentioned I've already rendered stuff for my next scenery painting. I wanted a rock texture and this was pretty on the spot. I just saw the name "emme" credited here and though I'd leave some commentary remembering emme's work. I guess I'll post results when I'm done. ![]() -edit- spelling. |

Hey man, so uhh if anything sorry if that first statement kinda bothered you. I mean sometimes, I just don't know how else to say something. I just want you to know, though, that I do take the time with each filter before I make a comment. So maybe it's been only up for like several hours, but given emme's work has been online for the last couple years + this was a modification, I just know that something about it is ensured to be used. Like something about your mod still makes it visible that it's emme's filter that I've been accustomed to using. But a lot of what I'm thinking is lost in translation. I guess let's just put it aside and not care about it.
Aside from all that gray-area stuff here's a test image of what I made using this filter in particular. It's currently a shader preset I made in Modo. I thought I'd show it to you so you get a sense of how some of us use filters. ![]() |

Yes. But I only got 1 thing there. Not sure if knew, but the Modo902 promo screen (the particle triangle swarming backdrop) is by me.

Hey! Great stuff. All those floating triangles. I went through 16 pages of images. I can see that MODO is some serious software.
