It also reminds me of nonograms - those puzzles where pixel art is broken into numbers to solve.

Really love this filter! Here is a tip for working with the tool: Use Illustrator to make a 16 x 32 grid. I used inches since I need the graphic to be pretty large. To do text I used the font mono 07_55. After typing what you want, convert it to outlines and just match up the squares with the letters. It doesn't have to be exact, just enough so you know where to mark the squares. I'm using this for a school's Robotics Team.
