I'm not sure why the presets shown are off center. They're not like that in Filter Forge, though. The submission wizard generated all new versions, instead of using the presets I included. Let me know if you have any issues.

Just in case an FF veteran or moderator passes by, is there some way to fix the presets that were generated off center on submission? Dunno why it bugs me, it's sort of like an itch I can't scratch. smile:)

Edit the filter and then go to the menu choice of Filter-Overrides....Now choose seamless tiling to be automatic...........Resave the filter and then resubmit as an update or contact FF to take down the filter and then submit the new version...

History and Why.......Short version....smile:)

Looking at your filter and the webpage for the filter the page shows it as
seamless...When you open your filter in FF the result looks different then the webpage..The seamless checkbox is not checked in the settings of the filter. I would assume that the original intent is that it is not a seamless filter.....When that box is checked the webpage matches the output of the filter....So when that filter is submitted this box is checked as if the filter is a seamless tile...This feature must be turned off to avoid the submission process from checking that box......
So you can either check the automatic or disable the seamless in the settings as above and it will submit as intended.....Pay attention to the first result it renders when submitting...If the Automatic does not work then change it to disabled.........

CFandM, Thanks for the tips and explanation. I did not think about it at the time, but I don't think this filter makes a useful pattern, so I can disable seamless tiling without issues. I just worked on a group of seamless or spherical mapped filters, and got in the habit of using the override. Not sure what I did on this one. I'll update soon.

Not sure when it happened, but having it on automatic or disabled changed the perlin noise, deforming the nebulae from when all the presets were made. But, when I updated from v7 to v9, they all got stuck that way. I may have to go back to v7... Working on the problem now.

Found it. Something else I did in the update changed the results. I can either roll back that update, or fix it and release an update with an altered result that looks better. Not a hard choice. It got me to make a few other updates, though. I had to redo some of the presets, so anyone who had it will notice some changes. That can't be helped, though.

I may have to wait for the last update to clear the submission queue, but it's ready to go now.

lol..yep been there many, many times....You get the filter all set to go and see just one thing you change real quick...It ends up changing the way the results looks or you have to redo the presets...Those do not always end up looking the way they were the first time around...

smile:D Yep!

The other thing that always happens is, as soon as I submit a filter, I spot some new flaw to fix or get an idea for an update. The work is never, quite, done!

Am I correct in assuming that a Seamless Enabled filter with non-seamless components will post correct presets if they look alright in FF with Seamless checked?
