yup, this is a good filter. you can see CF's thread on this one in the user gallery. i've been playing around with this one and find it quite good.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

i did a little update on this, CF. i think it's a brilliant frame filter; it just needed an update smile:) i removed the offsets and replaced the cells with a perlin. i also added the v2 stuff of ambient occlusion and such. i also allowed for the removal of the black center with a transparency. i could have done it the life saver showing also and for anyone that wants it that way, simply remove the 'image' component nearest the results component and it'll flip to the life preserver.

i dont know how the name on this one got changed to 'frame depth', CF, but oh well smile:)

i hope this comes through right.
