I have it on good word that this description was inspired by a true story.
And yeah, I totally dig Zephos' descriptions and documentation, it makes the filts feel more fun to use. I like using this filter for distressing and suitable dirtiness, altho (as a continuation of earlier times when it happened), I can't figure out for the life of me why I keep creating new comment threads — I didn't deliberately click-through the "Comments (0)" link on the filter's own page. Anyone know why? I'm enjoying using Filter Forge to create http://torley.com/textures |

sorry, torley; no idea why you're getting a click on comments (0) when you say you're not clicking there. i would guess you're using a wireless mouse set to the same wavelength of your mind and doing it by intention alone

			Torley,

don't worry too much about that. The forum bot deletes zero-post comment threads automatically after a time... --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

@Kraellin and Crapdilla: Thanks, good to know! (I'm using a wired mouse, but wish I could control Filter Forge telekinetically.)

Ahahah, I'm glad that you guys like my descriptions ^_^ Originally, I was a bit worried that some of the stuff I wrote would get my filters rejected since some of the text is pretty absurd and nonsensical! I'm glad that the Filter Forge crew has a good sense of humor to allow it to slide though ^_^ I get most of my writing taste from writing dialog for my characters -- they're a pretty interesting bunch ^_^

There actually was one filter that I edited to fit the rules for submission and that was Deluge Disaster -- originally it was called Noah's Nightmare and went onto a giant rant about what was harder for Noah to deal with, a flood of epic proportions or two unicorns in mating season. Of course, in respect for the thing about no religious references, I changed the name and description. Oh yes! As for The Defiler's description being based on a true story -- it most certainly is, ahahah -- one that occurs pretty much every other month or so ^_-. Oh yeah, just a small tidbit of humor, among the key words that the Defiler has, "exploding hamster" is listed ^_^ -Zephos |

Ahahah, thanks ScaryKitty. I actually had chronic fears of accidentally opening up this filter in Filter Forge automatically on one of my illustrations because then my characters would get... err... smeared X_- Ahahaha, I'm a bit over protective of my fictional characters, so to speak ^_^

Once I "accidentally" ran this filter over a customer's picture at work once, got a good laugh from the whole office that day, ahahah. -Zephos |
