wow. that one's good. i've seen burning cars before and that's pretty damn close. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Carl, this is REALLY good!!! Carl reborn
The smoke effect is perfect. The only thing that I would suggest is to get the flames to look like they are just coming from the bus. At very first glance, it looks totally realistic.....then you start to notice the derelict flames at the bottom. Maybe some high pass and extraction work would do it.....
Excellent Work!!! Steve

Thanks guys I did try to control the derelict flames which vary depending on the flame size and pic displacement height {some pic it looks fine } - three cheers for the history brush - will keep trying to improve all of my filters ...... Carl

Carl, I think that the remedy is the same for this one and your electrical one.....separating out the objects some way......maybe high pass and assembly would do it...... Steve

I'll give it a shot,I've tried all things I can think of, the displacement is the cause so it has to be controlled after that component, luckly it still work with alot of the compositions and the smoke can be used to mask in others ....... Carl

Maybe there is another filter in the library that the "separation" aspect can be utilized for this..... Steve

It's funny I was trying all these clever ways to control the loose flame none worked properly, ended up going back earlier in tree with simple solution - not a 100% happy with filter as Kraellin pointed out the smoke can be improved with tonal changes [ less straight white ] which I'm working on and other minor adjustments............. Thanks StevieJ .......... Carl

Maybe a differnce blend at 100% opacity combined with threshold would help in mapping the flames too....
Looks great.....and keeps getting better!!! This one could be destined as a high usage Steve

It's one of those dilemas how many controls do you put in - with this one I found you really needed to be able to place fire exactly where you want it and then stop the loose fragments of flame so the numder of controls grew and grew but it's certainly not my worst ......... Thanks for your comment ....... Carl

Wow Carl, this is really nice. I can’t believe I never noticed it before. I tried to do flames, I don’t now how many times, but never got it to work. What is new in the update? @ronviers

Hi ron - got rid of 4 or 5 component which speeds it up about 25% - tweaked a few controls - it's one of those filters I will keep trying to improve .
Thanks for look Ron
